 Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Artificial intelligence is the intelligence of machines, robots, and computer systems that mimic human intelligence to perform tasks and enhance themselves based on the data and information they store. Some applications of AI, such as, natural language processing, speech recognition, machine vision, advance web search engines, (e.g., Google), recommendation systems (used by YouTube, Amazon and Netflix), understanding human speech (such as Apple Siri and Amazon Alexa), self-driving cars (e.g., Tesla), highest level of strategic game. 

In the modern world, largest and most successful companies have used AI to improve sales, operations, and gain more advantage. AI processes much more data and capability to make answers. It manifests many forms. Some examples are chatbots that use AI to understand the behaviour of people, Intelligence assistants, and Recommendation engines. There are many sub branches of AI. A few are given below,

  • Machine learning: It is a branch of artificial intelligence and computer science, which mainly focuses on the use of algorithms and data to learn and improve its accuracy. Machine learning algorithms are created by using frameworks.

  • Neural networks: Neural networks is an interconnection of artificial neurons that is used for mathematical, computational models for processing information.

  • Deep learning: Deep learning is a machine learning technique that allows computers to learn and do as humans do. It is a subset of machine learning. 

  • Computer vision: Computer vision is a field of AI that allows us to learn and understand the visual world by using images, video, deep learning, and many more. 

  • Cognitive computing:  Cognitive computing is the simulate human thought process to finding solutions by using reasoning, machine learning, and language processing.
