Web Application Development

Web application development is an interactive apps that built by using web development technologies. It is accessible all over the internet through browse such as Google chrome, Safari, or Mozilla Firefox. It is closely related to website and share some characteristics with web development. Web application operate in any device; however, website cannot access in some device. Next, there are many types of web applications, for example, Static Web Application, Dynamic Web Application, eCommerce Web Application, CMS Web Apps, Portal Web Application, Single-Page Application, Multi-Page Application, Rich-Internet Web Application, and Progressive Web Apps. Web Applications are categorized based on their functionalities, tools, and technologies. It is built on three components a web server, an application, and a database. Web server mange the request of the client, application process the request, and database store the information. Nowadays, Web applications is gaining lots of attention in all industries, inducing healthcare, bank, education, and more.

Moreover, web application has two technologies, they are front- end and back-end development.

Front-end web development: Front-end web development is accomplished through client-side programming. It uses HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make customer user interface.


Back-end web development: Back-end web development is a server-side programming that is used to make the scripts of web application. These scripts written in different programming language such as Ruby, Java, and Python. Beside this, MySQL or MongoDB can used to store data.
