Software / Hardware Skills

Software is a group of instructions that allow computers to interact with computers or allow them to perform special tasks. However, hardware is the physical parts of a computer, for example, case, central processing unit, random access memory, monitor, keyboard, computer data storage, and motherboard. In simple words, software is the programs that run or perform tasks on a computer, whereas hardware allows the operator to communicate with the system. 


When you are talking about my software and hardware skills, I have both skills and knowledge of hardware and software. Software skills involve such as Microsoft office family, Lightroom, photoshop, and many more. Furthermore, I am also comfortable with MacOS and Microsoft operating systems. In the Microsoft family, I have good knowledge of word processing software and spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, as well as other software like Powerpoint, outlook, and OneDrive.


Moreover, I am good at repairing devices, solving problems, installing new parts, and learning the new hardware skills that make me knowledgeable. Additionally, I have hardware skills, device and peripherals, maintenance, networks, backup and recovery, tech support and others.  I learned these skills when I was in high school. These skills motivate me to learn more about computer fields and its branches.


Currently, I am learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to learn about Front Web Development. Besides, I am also learning UI and UX Design, WordPress, blogs, and Figma software. After completion of this, I want to learn Python, advanced excel, machine learning and artificial intelligence and many other coding languages and software's.  By learning this, I will enhance my knowledge in the IT and Software industry. These skills and knowledge, I will play a vital role in my career, will be able to work for positions I am eligible in the fields of interest, and take the opportunity that will be waiting for me in the future.


I will learn more about computer software and hardware in DMU.
