Computer Ethics
A set of moral principles to regulate the use of computer, technology, and disciplines without damaging or violating the moral values and beliefs of any individual, organization or entity. It is addressing the ethical issues and constraints that arise from the use of computers.
The ethical standards of various national and international professional societies and organizations have code of ethics documents of guideline of computing professionals and users, such as Association for Computing Machinery, Australian Computer Society, British Computer Society, German Informatics Society, Computer Ethics Institute and many others.
- I use a computer in ways that ensure consideration and respect for fellow humans.
- I do not use proprietary software for which you have not paid.
- I don not use other computer work
